A job description for a technical job requires both a core description and a technical skill set. The core description has several elements, each of which has three (3) possibilities. The background of the job is defined as either applications development, technical development or support. Every job also requires a certain experience level that is stated as junior, mid or senior. The technical environment of the job completes the core description. A technical job can be any combination of the options in the categories above. The second part of the job description describes the technical skill set the job needs.
